The Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is a Singapore visa issued to immediate family members of P1 and P2 MOM EP holders with minimum earnings of S$12,000.00 per month. For ICA-LTVP applicant, the requirements may varies & subject to individual profile assessments.

This type of visa can only be applied for the following individuals:

  • Common-law spouse or ‘de facto’ partner
  • Handicapped children (above 21 years old)
  • Stepchildren (under 21 years old)
  • Parents (Applicable for P1 EP holder only)
  • Spouse of SC or PR (Applicable for ICA-LTVP only)
  • Child below 21yrs of SC or PR (Applicable for ICA-LTVP only)
  • Parent of SC or PR (Applicable for ICA-LTVP only)
  • Mother/Grandmother children on student pass (Applicable for ICA-LTVP only)
  • Graduate from an Institute of Higher Learning seeking employment in Singapore (Applicable for ICA-LTVP only)
  • Visitor seeking permission to give birth in Singapore (Applicable for ICA-LTVP only)
The validity of the Long Term Visit Pass issued shall remain the same as the validity of the sponsoring Employment Pass,Student pass or applicable passes.

How to Apply

LTVP applications of EP or student pass holders can be submitted online through the MOM or ICA portal. To apply online, the employing company must have a registered access to the portal. Otherwise, they may engage the service of a licensed agency to apply for the DP or LTVP on their behalf.

Processing Time

Online applications are processed within 21 working days for MOM & within 1-3 months for ICA. Foreigners who wish to apply for LTVP-MOM Pass are not required to be physically present in Singapore while their applications are being processed except Foreigners who wish to apply for LTVP-ICA Pass are required to be physically present in Singapore while their applications are being processed. For applicants who are already in Singapore, MOM or ICA will not grant extension in the event when your short-term visit pass is due to expire and the application outcome is not yet known. Staying in Singapore beyond the allowable period without a valid pass is a violation of Singapore immigration law.
