Our client is a team of qualified and experienced professionals in engineering construction, which sets out to provide quality service. Their core competency is in engineering knowledge, project management expertise, continual productivity and quality improvement, work process innovation, workplace safety and health.

They are urgently looking for a Construction Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate to the overall planning and scheduling of activities of the project
• Oversee construction activities and ensure it is completed on time
• Establish liaison with project management on all matters relating to planning and scheduling
• Communicate with a range of people including clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, public, workforce and engineers
• Oversee delivery of materials, tools and equipment to the project site
• Knowledgeable of construction methodologies and submission of reports/applications to the relevant authorities
• Prepare progress report on the construction activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree  in Civil Engineering (obtain from Malaysia, UK, Australia and Singapore will be an advantage OR Degree recognised by Building Construction Authority (BCA)/PE Board
• At least 8 years relevant local experience in the management and construction of flyovers, viaduct and roads
• Required skills: MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD
• Possess Class 3 Driving License is an advantage
• Possess strong leadership, quality, good planning and organising ability
• Possess high level of initiative and integrity
• Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice
