Business (Sales) Manager
Our client is a regional financial institution, providing new sources of commercial financing solutions for businesses of all sizes in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the acquisition of new business and growing portfolio of clients.
- Achieve minimum sales targets: submit 3-4 new applications and close/fund minimum of $100,000 in transactions a month (or as assigned by company).
- Generate leads through own sales efforts including, but not limited to:
◦ Direct sales / canvassing
◦ Telemarketing / cold-calling
◦ Referral channels
- Convert sales leads to applications funded transactions through meetings with clients, analysis of client’s business needs, and consultative selling of financial solutions.
- Follow up on company leads generated from Marketing team.
- Pre-screen customer applications and verify supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Provide after-sales service and manage existing client relationships to maximize opportunities for client referrals and future sales.
- Work with Team Leader and team to identify innovative ways to find prospects and maximize business acquisition / referral opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma (or equivalent) or above.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years direct sales business sales experience.
- Relevant sales/acquisition experience with a proven sales track record and passion for sales.
- Candidates with sales backgrounds in the following sectors preferred: SME Banking, Commercial Financing, Credit Products, Loan Broking, Credit Consulting, Direct Selling, or Telesales.
- Good relationships and connections with SME retailers and merchants within various industries is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong persuasion skill.
- Able to interact effectively with people of all levels in complex and difficult situations
- Must be a proven self-starter, comfortable in a start-up environment, and successful developing business proactively.
- Fast thinker, problem-solver, with consultative selling skills.
- Fluent in both English and a second language (spoken and written)
- Immediate availability would be an added advantage
