We are currently looking for dynamic individual to join them as an Accountant.

The Accountant will assist and support the Financial Controller and Group Finance Manager with overseeing and managing the full spectrum of the finance function of group of companies effectively with the objective of ensuring that the company’s crucial financial business decisions are well made and there is optimization of financial resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Financial Controller and Group Finance Manager in all financial matters of the Group
• Actively co-lead and co-ordinate Group Reporting and consolidation and compile the month end financial reports and schedules for Management review and Shareholder reporting.
• Proactive management of Group Cash flow and working capital management in AR, AP, inventory and provide financial analysis support working hand-in-hand with regional shared service center as well as operations/management team
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, margin, profitability analysis and reporting
• Liaison with financial institutions/banks and treasury
• Assist in group audit, taxation and corporate secretaries for regulatory filing and compliances
• Assist in review, formulation and implementation of internal controls, processes, policies and systems in response to management and strategic change
• Involved in costing and cost management in COGS and overheads
• Provide financial analysis support
• Work in special projects as and when required/delegated by Financial Controller and Group Finance Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in accountancy or ACCA graduates with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Applicants with manufacturing background and ERP system experience is preferred
• Experienced in group consolidation is a plus
• Good working knowledge in Accounting Standard and audit principles
• Intermediate to advanced level in Excel
• Able to work under pressure and able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Hands-on and possess proactive and positive attitude towards changes in Group strategies
• Possess good interpersonal skills and able to write fluently
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
