Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client is a public-listed company for over a decade with overseas expansions in SEA. They specialize in printed circuit board and box-build assembly, equipment design and manufacturing services. They are well equipped in materials management, circuit layout, prototype & development engineering, metal stamping and precision machined components.
They are seeking highly motivated professionals to join them as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for conceptualization, 3D design, 2D detailing, testing and final setup for new development of high precision, high speed electro-mechanical system/equipment
- Review and continuously improve on machine designs, features and work processes of existing machine
- Support RFQ proposal, documentation for manual, ECN, work instruction, specification and test plan
- Support product migration from prototype to volume production
- Conduct installation, training and troubleshooting of machine in-house or at customers’ sites
- Work with vendors and suppliers on component sourcing, testing and selection
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of related experience for automated machines in semiconductor or SMT industry
- Experience in using 3D CAD tools-Solid Edge & Solid Works
- Knowledge of GD & T, FMEA, DOE and Root Cause analysis will be an advantage
- Able to work independently, confidently and is result oriented
- Good communication and with good problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Candidate must be willing to travel as and when required
