Our client is a newly established marine engineering company which provides offshore drilling rig fleet equipment and has completion services such as vessel maintenance & repair but mainly vessel inspection with well servicing rig fleets over the island and it is still expanding.  They offer exciting opportunity in for qualified and experienced individuals to join their ever-growing team.

We are looking for highly motivated and company oriented individuals to join them as a Project Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to Technical Director
• Perform engineering calculations, technical reviews, contractual reviews
• Develop solutions for the client to optimize the design for safe and efficient Operation.
• Manage the client and yard interface for the engineering and technical requirements of the project.
• Manage vendor and 3rd party engineering interface.
• Perform necessary technical and commercial reviews to ensure correct procurement of equipment.
• Report progress, costs, risks, issues in a professional manor for the project manager.
• Provide full commissioning support with procedures to ensure equipment is performing to design and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree Holder in Engineering: “Electrical & Instrumentation or Mechanical or Naval Architecture”
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in engineering, design and construction projects oil and gas drilling units.
• Must be a graduate of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture
• Should have a proven management skills and knowledge in Project

MANAGEMENT TOOLS:

• Should have sound knowledge of relevant engineering tools and software
• Must be creative, active and dynamic
• With a very good written and spoken English
• Able to travel to projects and work independently
• Understand technical requirements related to up-grading, refurbishing and building new drilling rigs.
