RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualise designs for web, mobile and print projects, with a consideration for the typography, graphics, colour, layout, branding and other requirements
• Translating website concepts into appropriate, technically executable layouts
• Rich Media design and production using DoubleClick Studio and Sizmek (MediaMind)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Interactive Media Design Graphic Design or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Web Designer or Multimedia Designer
• Good sense of design, colour, and typography
• Able to translate marketing objectives into creative direction
• Proficient in coding semantic HTML5 and usage of CSS techniques
• A working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in creating Responsive websites. Knowledge of responsive frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap is a bonus.
• Flash animation skills with ActionScript 3.0 knowledge. Experience of DoubleClick Studio and Sizmek is a bonus
• Proficient in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign. Knowledge of Premiere, After Effects is a bonus
• Knowledge of website usability, cross-browser compatibility, and industry best practices
• Must be collaborative with excellent communication skills
• Work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm; Location: Braddell
• The position is for a contract of 6 months, renewable and can be converted to permanent
