Technician (Electrical)

In Gas to Power, our client has a track record of developing, owning and operating power plants in Brazil, China, the Philippines and Nicaragua. In Singapore, it operates a 1,300 MW gas fired combined cycle power plant on Jurong Island.
Through its subsidiary, its advanced technology solutions address a wide spectrum of environmental issues such as solid waste, waste water, drinking and process water, bio solids and sludge. Our Client’s Subsidiary in-house Research & Development capabilities, as well as strategic alliances with global research institutes enable it to continuously improve its technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate and maintain plant equipment including incinerator-boiler, flue gas treatment, turbine, electrical, instrumentation & control, material handling equipment and auxiliaries
- Carry out testing, isolation and normalization of equipment and ensure all safety procedures are enforced
- Troubleshoot, study processes and rectify equipment fault
- Carry out front-line maintenance and equipment overhaul
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum NITEC or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial plant preferred
