In Gas to Power, Our Client has a track record of developing, owning and operating power plants in Brazil, China, the Philippines and Nicaragua. In Singapore, it operates a 1,300 MW gas fired combined cycle power plant on Jurong Island.
Through its subsidiary, its advanced technology solutions address a wide spectrum of environmental issues such as solid waste, wastewater, drinking and process water, bio solids and sludge. Our Client’s Subsidiary in-house Research & Development capabilities, as well as strategic alliances with global research institutes enable it to continuously improve its technology

 

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the daily work in laboratory has been carried out in safe, efficient and accurate manner
  • To ensure the analysis results of regular samples (from both SWTE & KSTP) have met the specification/limits
  • To carry out testing and analysis of water, wastewater, IBA and fly ash as per test schedule
  • To perform sampling and analysis on refuse samples during annual Incineration Capacity Testing
  • To conduct daily briefing with Wastewater Treatment Plant operations to ensure smooth process has been maintained in the treatment plant
  • To raise job card when any maintenance work is required
  • To assist Chemist in liaising with suppliers or contractors for chemical delivery
  • To assist Chemist in the inventory control of laboratory and plant chemicals
  • To assist Chemist in performing lab-scale study as and when assigned
  • To maintain a good housekeeping in the laboratory
  • To assist Chemist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the ISO documentation of laboratory
  • To compile the analysis results in the designated working documents
  • To generate and communicate report with relevant parties in a timely manner
  • To perform the assigned task as and when required
  • Teamwork: To encourage teamwork and build a harmonious, committed and motivated staff, working cohesively with Management
  • Training: To assist in providing training (to other dept/section staff) on the overview of WTP & WWTP
  • Communications: To communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and contractors, both individually and as a group, to ensure two-way communications

 

Requirements:

  • Willing to work at Senoko
  • At least 3 years of experience in laboratory and operational process
  • At least a Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology or Chemical Engineering
  • Proficient in laboratory testing and analysis, process control, technical writing and reporting
