In Gas to Power, Our Client has a track record of developing, owning and operating power plants in Brazil, China, the Philippines and Nicaragua. In Singapore, it operates a 1,300 MW gas fired combined cycle power plant on Jurong Island.
Through its subsidiary, its advanced technology solutions address a wide spectrum of environmental issues such as solid waste, wastewater, drinking and process water, bio solids and sludge. Our Client’s Subsidiary in-house Research & Development capabilities, as well as strategic alliances with global research institutes enable it to continuously improve its technology.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall operations of the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance section in the repair and servicing of E&I equipment.
• To plan and implement preventive maintenance & overhaul programs
• To ensure high availability of plants’ E&I equipment
• To coordinate test and execute switching on HV equipment
• To plan and carry out purchasing and replenishment of spare parts and tools, in coordination with Procurement department
• Attend to all emergencies concerning E&I equipment
• To plan and negotiate on contracts for the supply and work, including supervision of work
• To plan and coordinate inspections for the received spare parts and tools
• To implement and enforce ISO procedures
• To ensure the plant electrical maintenance is within budget
• To provide leadership and teamwork on jobs execution with electrical, mechanical maintenance and operations
• To plan and implement continuous improvement programs
• To plan and implement internal training and OJT programs
• To provide plant tour and training for students and other visitors

 

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in operations and maintenance of heavy industrial, water plant or power plants
• Possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• Grade 1 or 2 Steam Engineer Certificate will be advantageous
• Experience in handling HV equipment
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems and Automation & Control Systems
