JOB DESCRIPTION:

• DIVISION: Precast
• DEPARTMENT: Production Management
• JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER
• DIRECT REPORT TO: Operation Manager
• MATRIX REPORT TO: None
• DIRECT SUBORDINATES: Production Engineer, Production Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor
• JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Recognised degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 3-5 years relevant civil experience
  • Preferably with experience and knowledge in Precast
  • Applicants with more years of experience will be considered for Senior Engineers position
  • Proficiency in computerised drafting/design software and AutoCAD

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Accountable for overall performance of the project
  • Accountable for deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material
  • Ensure project is executed as planned within the specific time and budget and meet all clients’ and quality
  • Ensure project disputes/clarifications are settled during the execution of project
  • Verify work done/report of subcontractors including communicating relevant quality, environmental and OHS procedures, and requirements to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Liaises with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and government authorities on project-related issues, when necessary
  • Be mentor to project site staff
  • Accountable for workplace safety and health of employees at project site
  • Performs other duties as assigned
• PERIODIC DUTIES:
  • Must be willing to be stationed in Johor Bahru, Malaysia
  • Attends site meetings when necessary
  • Attends project execution meetings
  • Attend Safety and Health coordination meeting
