Our Client while tapping the expertise of its environmental engineering and technology, will continue growing its integrated power and gas business as well as its environmental and energy efficiency businesses.
In Gas to Power, Our Client has a track record of developing, owning and operating power plants in Brazil, China, the Philippines and Nicaragua. In Singapore, it operates a 1,300 MW gas fired combined cycle power plant on Jurong
Island.
Through its subsidiary, its advanced technology solutions address a wide spectrum of environmental issues such as solid waste, wastewater, drinking and process water, bio solids and sludge. Our Client’s Subsidiary in-house Research & Development capabilities, as well as strategic alliances with global research institutes enable it to continuously improve its technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer IT support phones calls/email/faxes and letters and to provide excellent customer service in a timely and efficient manner so users’ productivity are not affected due to equipment or system breakdown.
  • Provide problem analysis and resolve client issues with the aid of available helpdesk tools (e.g. help files and Knowledge base articles), so that problem could be solved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate call comments are entered in the helpdesk system and appropriate information is provided in escalated calls so that knowledge base could be continuously built up, retained and sustained.
  • Ensure service and call standards are maintained with respect to compliance, problem identification, proposed solution and conclusion, to ensure professionalism of work and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborate with team members on knowledge transfer, support policies, procedures and standards.
  • To support and manage the life-cycle of IT asset including but not limited to laptop & desktop computers, printers, meeting & conference room equipment and accessories from acquisition to disposal so that each item is accounted for with no wastage.
  • Support rollout of new applications.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in supporting Windows XP/7/8, LAN, PC, structured cabling, Microsoft Office packages, VoIP and IT related devices
  • Education: Min. Diploma in Computer Science or IT
  • Travel Requirement: ~ 30% domestic only, including HQ and all plants in Singapore
  • Personal Characteristics: Can-do, Will-do spirit; patience, technical orientation, customer focus
  • Technical Skills Competencies:
    • Excellent in analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
    • Excellent in supporting computer hardware and operating system
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, writing & oral communication skills
    • Proficient in IT Security and networking knowledge
  • Soft skills needed:
    • Customer service orientated
    • Ability to manage stakeholder relationship
    • Driver for results
    • Appreciate collaboration and teamwork
