RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the application of Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) methodologies during the development and launch of new products
• Participate in front end design reviews and quality planning, including DFM, FMEA, and product and tool design reviews
• Develop and implement control plans for new products, including developing appropriate charts, inspection plans, validation procedures, acceptance criteria, metrology related instructions, and training plans
• Apply problem solving and statistical tools in a new product problem analysis and design verification
• Responsible for validating manufacturing processes, through tooling qualifications, capability studies, MSA process audits

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing engineering
• 3 years of quality and/or new-product-launch experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with commonly used productivity and statistical software such as Microsoft Office and Minitab
• Working knowledge in following will be preferred:
• APQP tools, QC Tools problem solving tools, MSA, capability studies, basic statistical tools
