Accounting Manager Cum Administrator (Makati City -PHILIPPINES)
Our Singapore office client URGENTLY seeking for the above position & to be station in Makati City – Philippines hence need to communicate fluently in TAGALOG. The primary role is accounting, the secondary is administrative and logistics support.
As an international photovoltaic system integrator they develop, plan, build and operate utility-scale, commercial and industrial photovoltaic plants. As an EPC contractor specializing in the design and execution of solar power plants, Client places special emphasis on the “on-time and on-budget” construction and delivery of solar power plants, optimized to deliver superior output. With subsidiaries on three continents, the company has designed and built some 800 MWp of turnkey systems since its founding.
Philippines, Inc. is a domestic corporation engaged in the business of importing, marketing and selling of photovoltaic systems and components. With this end in view, the corporation likewise undertakes the planning and construction of photovoltaic power plants in conjunction with Singapore office an affiliate corporation based in Singapore.
The focus of client activities is on its subsidiaries in the high-growth regions in the USA, Asia/Pacific and the Middle East. Their subsidiaries on location are well established in their markets and have many years of experience and competence in developing and constructing photovoltaic systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary role of this position is accounting, the secondary role is administrative and logistics support. Accounting functions below:
- · Prepared independently and on time monthly financial reporting after IFRS and submit to regional headquarters.
- · Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
- · Maintains accounting controls by accounting software Quick Books; defining accounting policies and procedures.
- · Prepared monthly recognition of revenue and cost after percentage of completion method (IFRS)
- · Prepared and submit all tax matters on time and submit to Philippines government (eg. BIR)
- · Applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
- · Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
- · Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
- · Prepared weekly cash flows and submit to local headquarter.
- · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- · Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- · Administrative work and assist others department
- · Project control- have an overview for all projects in progress and make sure all information in cost sheet is correct
- · Payroll -To check through monthly staff claims and prepare pay slips
- · Accounts payables -Prepare payments & payment vouchers for suppliers
- · Accounts receivables -Keep track of due dates and follow-up on payment
- · General administrative & filing works and other Ad-Hoc duties as allocated by Management
REQUIREMENTS
- · Minimum 3 – 5 years working experience in accounting firm / audit firm
- · Proficient in accounting after IFRS and Local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- · Ability to work alone, meet deadlines, meticulous and accurate
- · Good Team player with good communication skills in English
- · Proficient in MS Excel, word and Quick Books
