Our client are experts in the field of Marine refrigeration and air-conditioning works. Their years of sound management and good business reputation in the industry have enabled a set up of a comprehensive network of reputable suppliers and specialized service professionals.

Located in Jurong, they now have a vacancy for a Purchaser who will be committed in negotiating for genuine and quality products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Source for products and services in a timely and effective manner.
2. Ensure genuine quality and reliability of every purchase that you have committed.
3. Bargain and obtain the lowest prices to enable good cost saving for the company.
4. Always maintain the highest time efficiency and complete every purchase on timely basis
5. Maintain good rapport with suppliers and vendors to ensure that they provide us the best in time delivery and serviceability
6. Responsible for suppliers and vendors sourcing, selection and negotiation.
7. Review existing purchasing policy and make necessary continuous improvement and recommendations
8. Review existing approved suppliers and vendors on their supply and delivery performance.
9. Any other duties assigned by the Management as and when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma and above
• 3-5 years purchasing experience in Marine or Oil & Gas spare parts
• In-depth knowledge in HVAC spare parts, ship repair spare parts and accommodation (carpentry).
• Have working experience in related field.
• Wide supplier network in Marine or Oil & Gas industry both locally and globally.

Working hours are 8:15am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Company shuttle bus provided to pick up at Jurong East MRT around 7:45am and from office to Jurong East MRT around 6:10pm
