RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To assist Technical Officer and Senior Technical Officer in fulfilling their responsibilities
• To carry out routine maintenance on plant and auxiliary equipment in accordance to good maintenance practice,
• To supervise greasing and cleaning of equipment and machineries under his charge or as directed by his superiors.
• To carry out rectification on plant and auxiliary equipment as well as building services.
• Carry out plant improvement activities.
• Must adhere to all safety procedures.
• Maintain proper housekeeping as well as tidiness of work areas.
• Attend to unscheduled outages of plant equipment.
• Record details of maintenance and repair works carried out.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned by Senior Technical Officer and Technical Officer.
• Oversee and handle maintenance activities as assigned during boiler overhaul.
• Oversee and supervise external contractors in maintenance activities.
