RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development and maintain video website and provide technical support for the Brightcove video platform / CMS.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain video web site
  • Manage and support the Brightcove video CMS system
  • Integrate video capabilities and video advertising on websites and mobile apps
  • Automate syndication of video files with partners

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in web engineering, video technology, computing engineering or equivalent
  • Well verse with video technologies such as video encoding and delivery, video players, video advertising, etc
  • Hands-on experience in web development including PHP5, CSS3, Javascript, MySQL and PHP framework
  • Strong in REST, JSON, XML, web services and object oriented techniques
  • Knowledge in CMS like Drupal and CDN like Akamai is important
  • Good knowledge of SEO best practices, web security practices, digital analytics and social media integration is a clear advantage
  • Familiar with agile approach and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Good in interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
