C&B Specialist (Central)
Our Client is a leading technology and solutions provider to the food manufacturing industry with focused on food safety and security. They are also a known provider of die casting, wet grinding, and surface coating technologies, with a focus on applications in the automotive, optics, electronics, printing, packaging, and glass technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compensation & Benefits
- As Centre of Excellence for all C&B matters in SEA
- Review and develop C&B policies and schemes
- Assist local HR in review of existing C&B policies & schemes and make recommendation for improvement
- Participate in salary surveys and market research to ensure the company’s pay structure and benefits schemes are internally aligned, market competitive and comply to local labour legislation
- Work with each SAS to consolidate and clarify job descriptions for each function, conduct position evaluation and benchmarking
- Support in design and implementation of employee surveys
- Support in annual salary review and bonus review processes
- Assist in preparation of salary proposals against market benchmark
- Support budgeting process
- International Assignment
- Ensure IA management within the region is according to Buhler IA policy
- Assist in consolidation and development of standard benefits guidelines in each SAS for short term and long term assignments
- Support local HR & expatriate in clarification of personal income tax reporting
- Keep track of validity of international assignments within the region
- Performance Management
- Super-user of Employee Performance Management (EPM) system responsible for regional software matters, data management, user manual update and training
- Ensure all SAS adheres to EPM process and timeline for objectives setting, mid-year and year-end reviews as well as performance board
- Ensure quality of objectives i.e. according to SMART & internal guidelines and completion of EPM process
- Others
- Check and consolidate monthly headcount reports for SEA
- Support regional HR announcements and communication in monthly newsletter
- Consolidate updated organization charts for the region
- Support HR projects roll out
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration with C&B certification
- Minimum 6 years of general HR experience with 3 years in regional C&B
- Experience working in global/ multinational companies
- Experience with Mercer eIPE and salary surveys
- Ability to multi-task and work under time pressure
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
- High degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information
