Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing non–analytic data and systems support for the global publishing group.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and provide systems and data support
• Input data related to bonds, ISIN, CUSIPS, and ratings using proprietary applications and databases
• Respond to data inquiries from editors and/or analysts regarding ISIN’s/CUSIPS and bonds
• Coordinate flow of Ratings Actions Commentaries with the Press Team
• Maintain and verify the integrity and consistency of departmental data while liaising with the IT database team
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any field
• Knowledge and exposure to financial systems and underlying databases strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Bloomberg, ISIN’s, CUSIPS, Web and Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proofreading and fact checking ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure, to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic understanding of financial markets
• Strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative
• Proven flexibility, strong attention to detail with a high regard for accuracy and urgency of deadlines
