Our client offers facilities management services for corporate, education facilities and commercial properties in Singapore and overseas.

Job Summary:

You will work closely with the Site Services Manager to maintain and continuously improve the efficiency and profitability of the operations at which you work, whilst maintaining a high standard of service in accordance to budget. Operations include cleaning, pest management, waste management and technical maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervises skilled, general maintenance, ventilation, and air conditioning (HAVC) mechanics; assigns work orders and routine maintenance tasks; assigns and/or supervises equipment projects and repairs; meets established time schedules.

2. Oversees outside contractors; performs follow-up investigations; monitors results of maintenance projects, preventive maintenance, and energy management programs.

3. Liase with internal and external providers to obtain the best level of service for the site.

4. Actively seek to determine internal and external customer requirements.

5. To meet, and whenever possible, exceed their needs.

6. Monitors the status of projects and pending problems; exercises good judgment and problem resolution; shifts workload based on priority demands.

7. Ensure costs are minimized and each facility preserves a high-level maintenance and appearance and adheres to all Statutory and Regulatory Compliance Standards that are the responsibility under the terms and conditions contained within the agreement.

8. Ensure all areas of income generated are maximized, and all areas of cost and expenses are minimized, wherever possible.

9. Serves as emergency essential position and as on-call supervisor.

10. Performs other duties as assigned by Site Services Manager and the management.

REQUIREMENTS:

▪         General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general maintenance procedures

▪         Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and operations

▪         Knowledge of building automation systems, including Johnson Controls Metasys Systems

▪         Supervisory skills

▪         Strong Organizational/planning skills

▪         Good Verbal and written communication skills

▪         Strong computer and software skills

▪         Ability to draft project proposals

▪         Ability to troubleshoot, modify, and maintain maintenance systems and equipment

▪         Ability to exert above average physical effort including walking across the site, lifting, bending, and carrying light to moderately heavy materials or equipment

▪        Diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of technical training; supplemented with three (3) years of progressively responsible, work related experience.
